The business has grown into a family of companies offering a wide range of furniture solutions for home, business and institutional markets. Haas Door Company has been manufacturing top quality garage doors in Northwest Ohio since 1954. We are locally owned, and our products exhibit unsurpassed quality and workmanship. When you employ quality people, and they utilize quality manufacturing processes, you produce quality products. We call ourselves “The Haas Door Family” and that’s the way we operate.
Haas Door Company manufactures all our garage doors in the U.S. and is committed to providing quality products that are safe for our customers and friendly to our environment. Haas doors are made from steel that contains 80% recycled material. A rigid vinyl thermal break, made with recycled materials, separates each door section to eliminate metal-to-metal contact and the transfer of temperature.
Haas Door uses CFC-free polyurethane insulation to craft some of most energy-efficient doors on the market.
We have an ongoing process to gain efficiency and reduce waste, including a recycling program for scrap metal, cardboard and plastic. Raw material packaging is reused or recycled whenever possible. And we carefully select suppliers that are regional to minimize fuel consumption and cost.
Haas Door continually works with our suppliers to find ways to improve the performance and environmental friendliness of our products.

Metamora State Bank first opened its doors in Metamora, Ohio, on July 1, 1944. Originally owned and operated by a husband and wife team with a financial base of only $1.5 million, the bank now has branches in both Metamora and Sylvania, a staff of 20 employees, and assets in excess of $70 million. We proudly celebrated our 70th anniversary year in 2014.
Through the years, Metamora State Bank has seen big changes in facilities as well as operations. Committed to growth, the bank opened a second branch in Sylvania in 1995. Located on the northeast corner of Centennial Road and Sylvania-Metamora Road, the new branch retains its small town bank image and provides the level of customer service that has kept the bank thriving for more than 70 years. The original Metamora State Bank branch was renovated in the spring of 2001, and the Sylvania Banking Center was remodeled in 2014.

Sauder Village is a nonprofit organization, home of Ohio’s largest living-history museum. The 235-acre complex offers a complement of food, lodging and retail services, making it an ideal destination for families, groups, small conferences and special events.
We are different than most organizations thanks to the original passion and dream of our founder, Erie Sauder who was a visionary leader. Erie established Sauder Village in 1976, not just to preserve the “things” from history, but more importantly to share the “stories” of every day people of the past. His respect and appreciation for his ancestors translated into a passion to ensure that people, and most specifically children, realize the ingenuity, hard work, sacrifice, and determination of those who came before us — and ultimately to inspire that same pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit in their lives today in hopes that they strive to make a positive difference in their world. This continues to serve as our core purpose.
In addition, an overriding commitment to service and hospitality is deeply rooted in the Sauder Village culture. Reminded of Erie’s continued example of servitude in all he did, our staff is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment, offering experiences rich in history, hospitality, creativity and fun.
Sauder Village is the home of The Historic Village, Barn Restaurant, Doughbox Bakery, Founder’s Hall, Sauder Heritage Inn and Campground, Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop and Retail Shops.
