MetalX is an independent scrap metal recycling business founded in 2012 by Danny and Neal Rifkin, third and fourth generation members of the Rifkin family, whose long history in the industry is well known. MetalX is a full-service scrap metal recycling company engaged in ferrous and nonferrous scrap processing, consulting and management services, and advanced metal recovery technologies. The company is headquartered in Waterloo, Indiana and currently employs more than 200 people. Our main processing facilities are concentrated in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, with dedicated on-site scrap management operations located throughout the U.S..
We buy scrap from industrial generators, wholesale suppliers, and the general public. As a processor, we transform raw scrap into specification melt products for primary and secondary producers of iron, steel, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing was established in 1983 as a small contract machine shop. Today, we have three plants located in Wauseon, Ohio, and a sales office located in Dayton, Ohio.
For over 30 years, our Plant 1 facility has been providing build-to-print tooling, prototypes, and precision machining for customers around the world. Our equipment capabilities include turning, milling, grinding, and EDM for producing punches, pins, rollers, blocks, cams, and mold details among other precision tools and die parts.
Our plant 2 facility designs and manufactures tooling and equipment for the automotive, aerospace, HVAC, hydraulics, and several other expanding and emerging industries. We specialize in supplying and supporting manufacturing companies in the fluid transfer and tube fabricating segments of industry and consumer goods worldwide.
